2024 Excellence Awards Luncheon

We are thrilled to share the highlights from our 23rd FACE Excellence Awards Luncheon, an event that brought together our community to celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride as we honored four remarkable individuals whose dedication and impact have left an indelible mark on our society.

Honoring Excellence: We were deeply honored to recognize and celebrate the exemplary efforts of our award winners. Each of these individuals has set a high standard of excellence through their work and commitment to making a difference.

Jorge Pérez – Entrepreneurship Award: As Chairman and CEO of The Related Group, Mr. Pérez is not only a leading philanthropist but also the namesake of the Pérez Art Museum Miami, thanks to his transformative contributions to the arts.
Aida Levita, Ph. D. - Excellence Award for Leadership: Dr. Levitan, the President of ArtesMiami, has served as Board Director and immediate past Chairman of U.S. Century Bank and FACE and led the number one U.S. Hispanic ad agency.
Sam Verdeja – Lifetime Achievement Award: Co-founder of FACE, author, and Senior Executive at Miami Herald Publishing Co., Mr. Verdeja’s legacy in journalism and community advocacy continues to inspire all.
Frank Del Rio – Excellence in Business Award: Former President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, and Founder of Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Mr. Del Rio has made a significant impact in the cruise industry.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the accomplishments of our honorees and to acknowledge the support and inspiration they provide to others in their fields. The luncheon was not only a celebration of their successes but also a testament to the power of dedication and innovation.
